We are
what they call a "boutique" law firm, that is, we mainly
handle Will, Trust and Estate Contests/Litigation. We have been
focusing on estate litigation since the mid-1970's. We have thus
seen virtually every kind of this type of litigation. Almost all
of our cases are referred to us by other attorneys. In In the greater Bay Area, there are but a handful of firms that handle this type of case. We take the case from the first interview through discovery, the mediation, trial and, if needed, appeal. From a geographical standpoint, most of our cases come from Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, but we are able to take cases in most Northern California counties, and even travel to Los Angeles County on occasion. We handle cases on an hourly basis (pay as you go) or on a contingent fee basis (you win, we get our fee as a percent of your recovery; no recovery, no fees paid). Consultation about a case is free of charge. Potential clients never know whether or not they have a viable case hinging on issues involving estate conflicts unless they discuss the matter with an experienced attorney. Those discussions with our firm are absolutely free. There is no charge unless and until we advise you that you do or do not have a case, and then you retain us.
